I’m Valerie Anderson, a strategic advisor, organisational architect, and thinking partner for mission-driven organisations. With over 17 years of experience in the non-profit and for-purpose sector, I help leaders and teams build strong governance, sustainable operations, and impactful strategies.My work is about clarity, structure, and long-term success—coordinating people, processes, and passion for purpose. Whether guiding organisations through their first 1,000 days, supporting leadership decision-making, or strengthening organisational foundations, I provide the expertise and strategic insight to help mission-driven organisations thrive, not just survive. My approach is participatory, asset-based, and reflective, ensuring that solutions are not only effective but also sustainable and deeply embedded in your organisation’s DNA.Previously, I have worked in South Africa and America, as well as for a UK-based international development organisation, conducting participatory research in Ghana and Kenya. I grew up in the Philippines and currently call Cape Town home.
